Deli Manager (Full-Time) We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Deli Manager to join our team at Kernans Spar Tullygay Newmills on a full-time basis. As the Deli Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our deli operations, ensuring the highest level of customer service and food quality. The Role: • Manage the day-to-day operation of the deli and fresh food department • Lead and support the deli team to provide excellent customer service • Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, hygiene and cleanliness • Ensure food safety and HACCP procedures are followed at all times • Manage stock, ordering, deliveries, rotation and waste • Organise daily tasks to ensure the department runs efficiently • Support the training and development of deli team members • Work closely with store management, follow company procedures and maintain a safe working environment Job Requirements: • Previous deli/fresh food experience, ideally at supervisory or management level • Strong leadership and customer service skills • Good knowledge of food safety, food hygiene and HACCP principles • Experience in stock control, ordering and waste management • Excellent organisational and communication skills • Ability to lead, support and motivate a team in a busy environment • Flexibility to work varied shifts We offer: • Competitive Hourly Rate • Employee Meal Discounts • Training and Development • Career Progression Opportunities • Further Education • Fantastic career opportunities for enthusiastic and hard working individuals
