Senior Frontend Engineer

PropertyPal is part of Distilled, the group behind Daft.ie, DoneDeal.ie and Adverts.ie. We are looking for a Frontend Engineer to work across our React web app and React Native mobile apps. You will be up to date with modern frontend technologies, enjoy building intuitive experiences for both web and mobile, and want to work in a high-performance, fast-paced and ambitious environment. We're a small team, so everyone has a real say in what we build and how. That comes with trust and ownership: we expect high standards and good pace, without needing constant direction. This is a remote-first role, with the flexibility to work from home. How You’ll Create with Impact We build the PropertyPal web app with React, TypeScript and Next.js, and our iOS and Android apps with React Native. As a Frontend Engineer at PropertyPal you will: - Build, maintain and own features across the PropertyPal web and mobile apps - Take responsibility for defining and delivering the solution for complex features, working closely with product and design - Help ship and maintain our iOS and Android apps, including app store and over-the-air releases - Build efficient, reusable frontend components and shared code that work across web and mobile - Use AI development tools such as Claude Code every day to deliver better products faster - Keep our codebase clean, scalable, secure and well tested - Look after the health of the systems you work on, in production as well as in development - Keep up with new technologies and techniques in frontend and mobile development
