About the role

General Information Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2026 Local Government Case Competition hosted by the Allegheny County Department of Human Services! This year, the case challenge will be related to children and youth. You do not need to be deeply familiar with this population to participate.              This case competition brings together teams of graduate students to solve a human service-related challenge. This year, the competition will be held from Tuesday, November 10, to Sunday, November 15. The competition will include two in-person events at the Human Services Building (1 Smithfield St., Pittsburgh, PA 15222) - Tuesday, 11/10/26, 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM: Kick-Off Event  - Sunday, 11/15/26, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Presentation Day Upon submission of this completed form, you will be registered as a participant.
