- Experience through an acquisition or integration, particularly within a larger parent company
- A history of introducing new analytical, forecasting, or modeling standards across a finance organization
- Experience preparing materials and analysis for CFO, CEO, or Board-level audiences
A day in the life and how you’ll make an impact:
- Serve as the primary Finance partner for the Partnerships organization, developing a deep understanding of the partner portfolio, pipeline, economics, and strategic priorities
- Build business cases for new and existing partnerships, evaluating customer acquisition, activation, revenue, margin, retention, investment requirements, and long-term value
- Partner with Partnerships leadership to establish targets, evaluate performance, identify risks and opportunities, and incorporate the latest outlook into the broader financial forecast
- Own and improve key Anaplan models and planning processes, ensuring our financial models are scalable, well-structured, and connected to the way the business actually operates
- Build and own complex models behind strategic initiatives such as new partnerships, market expansion, pricing changes, and product launches, and turn the analysis into recommendations leadership can act on
- Connect detailed operational assumptions to the long-term plan and understand how changes in individual business drivers ultimately flow through to the broader P&L
- Identify structural risks and opportunities before they materialize in reported results, challenging assumptions and helping business leaders understand the financial implications of their decisions
- Partner across Partnerships, Product, Sales, Data, R&D, and corporate Finance teams across Melio and Xero to align financial strategy with operational plans
- Help raise the analytical standard of the broader FP&A team by improving modeling practices, planning processes, documentation, and how we use Anaplan
