The Workforce Mobilization Manager is responsible for leading workforce mobilization initiatives that prepare LA28 workforce populations for successful transition from workforce planning through Games-time operations.
Reporting to the Head of Workforce Mobilization, this role partners across Functional Areas, Workforce Planning, Workforce Integration, Talent Acquisition, Volunteer Programs, Communications, and Readiness teams to ensure workforce populations are informed, engaged, prepared, and operationally ready at every stage of the workforce lifecycle.
The Workforce Mobilization Manager drives assigned mobilization programs and workforce readiness workstreams, translating workforce strategies into actionable plans that support employee experience, workforce movement, organizational readiness, and Games-time deployment.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Mobilization & Readiness
- Support assigned workforce mobilization initiatives from planning through execution.
- Develop workforce activation plans, readiness milestones, and implementation of roadmaps.
- Support movement of workforce populations through key workforce lifecycle phases leading to Games-time.
- Identify workforce risks, dependencies, and readiness gaps and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Monitor workforce readiness progress and provide recommendations to leadership.
Workforce Engagement & Communications
- Support workforce communication and engagement initiatives that drive awareness, preparedness, and connection.
- Facilitate workshops, readiness reviews, and workforce engagement activities.
- Partner with Communications and Workforce Integration teams to support workforce transitions and organizational change.
- Ensure workforce messaging and engagement activities align with mobilization objectives and operational milestones.
Employee Experience & Organizational Readiness
- Partner with People Management teams to support workforce experience initiatives that enhance engagement, connection, and readiness.
- Gather workforce insights and feedback to improve mobilization programs and employee experience.
- Support workforce segmentation strategies to ensure mobilization approaches meet the needs of diverse workforce populations.
- Serve as the mobilization lead for assigned workforce populations and organizational initiatives.
Program Management & Stakeholder Partnership
- Develop and maintain project plans, dashboards, status reports, and governance materials.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships and influence stakeholders to achieve mobilization objectives.
- Represent Workforce Mobilization in planning meetings, working groups, and governance forums.
- Support continuous improvement of workforce mobilization frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Lead special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications
Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of experience in workforce operations, organizational readiness, change management, employee experience, project management, human resources, or related disciplines strongly preferred.
- Experience leading cross-functional programs and large-scale workforce or organizational initiatives.
- Experience supporting workforce transitions, organizational transformation, operational readiness, or major event environments preferred.

Compensation
The annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 $115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28's operational business needs and applicable law.
