Role Summary
Global X, a New York-based sponsor of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), is seeking an ETF Product Management Assistant Vice President (AVP) to join our Product Management & Enhancement team.
The AVP is expected to be an impactful contributor to the Product Management team across the firm’s ETF product range. The ETF Product Management AVP will review existing ETF products and their respective indexes or strategies, monitor ongoing firm-wide Global X initiatives, and develop a strong understanding of the ETF ecosystem to support multiple areas of the firm. The ETF Product Management AVP will have broad exposure to the firm’s existing 110+ ETFs across our Income, Thematic Growth, and International Access suites. Additionally, the Product Manager will monitor existing ETF products and their underlying indexes or strategies, assist in identifying and implementing firm-wide fund enhancement initiatives, address regulatory developments, and build a comprehensive understanding of the ETF ecosystem to support various areas of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management and Research teams to assess exposure, index methodologies, and competitive positioning for existing ETFs.
- Develop and oversee work plans for enhancement-related projects affecting current ETF offerings.
- Monitor third-party index providers and ensure ongoing index maintenance.
- Conduct quantitative analyses in Excel using third-party platforms like Bloomberg, Morningstar, and FactSet.
- Draft and review product-related regulatory filings and materials for board meetings and senior management presentations.
- Support the Product Development team to evaluate new ETF opportunities and contribute to the design of index and/or active strategies for future ETF product development
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated quantitative, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Proficiency in MS Excel; coding experience (e.g., Python, VBA) is a plus.
- 5-7 years of Venture Funds/ETF/index work experience.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, math, economics, business or similar.
- Advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, CFA charter) preferred but not required.
Compensation: $150,000-$160,000 plus annual bonus
