We are looking for an experienced Billing and Claims Support Representatitve to join our Customer Support team. This role would be responsible for organizing and processing claims into the database while maintaining accurate records of all claims and invoices processed. We are looking for someone who has experience ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of claims processing. and wants to bring their talents into a “for purpose” space. This is a remote position based on Eastern Time. Talkspace Headquarters is located in NYC.
What You’ll Do
Billing and Claims Support
- Organize and process claims into our database, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of all claims and invoices processed.
- Support a streamlined process for efficient and accurate billing.
- Work closely with internal team members to resolve billing issues and ensure timely reimbursement for Talkspace.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies related to claims and billing.
Team Collaboration
- Communicate effectively with team members and other departments.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related work-experience.
- 1+ year of experience with electronic claims processing and/or billing software required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- 2+ years of experience in billing and accounting is preferred.
- Healthcare experience, experience with medical billing codes and terminology is preferred.

Compensation
At Talkspace, we believe that pay transparency during the interview process is a critical part of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Our salary bands are based on internal and external compensation benchmarks, which we regularly evaluate to ensure we pay competitively.
The hourly rate for this role is $24.50/hr.
