What we want to see - A proven track record in a senior business development or sales leadership role, ideally having built and led a team before. - Experience running complex, enterprise-level sales cycles and managing a complex, cross-border business environment. - Local market knowledge of APAC (China and broader Asia-Pacific) - A hands-on operator who is willing to lead from the front on individual deals while also building and executing a regional strategy. - Comfortable working with data: able to read portfolio concentration, take-rate, and activation metrics and turn them into a commercial plan. - Results-focused and highly motivated, thriving in a high-growth, fast-changing company; able to lead the way and improve the business holistically. Responsibilities - Grow revenue through direct sales, finding and closing new brands across APAC. - Design and execute an effective go-to-market strategy to enable the organization to achieve its goals, with a clear plan to reduce concentration risk in any single account, vertical, or country. - Prioritize and win new business in SaaS, AI, Streaming and Vedio Games verticals, alongside the existing online retail base. - Expand geographic reach, building pipeline within the approved ICP in those high growth regions such as Latam, Africa, Middle East, South East Aisa, India…wherever EBANX already has infrastructure and operations. - Build and own a structured activation playbook for newly signed merchants, working with internal teams to compress time-to-live. - Achieve regional growth targets, including GP budgets and new activation targets. - Protect pricing and take-rate discipline in negotiations, balancing volume growth with margin health. - Upgrade the sales function by hiring and developing experts across key functions, increasing both the geographic and vertical spread of revenue. - Represent EBANX and the APAC growth story to prospective merchants, partners, and internally to leadership.
