About the Role
As an Implementation Specialist at 3E, you’ll turn a signed customer contract into a working, adopted solution. You’ll own hands-on implementation activities from kickoff through configuration, validation, foundational training, launch, and handoff—helping customers reach measurable first value from 3E’s products.
This role combines technical implementation, customer engagement, and project coordination. You’ll translate the agreed scope of work into a practical delivery plan, configure customer environments using real customer data, coordinate with technical and cross-functional partners, and keep milestones, risks, dependencies, and customer commitments visible throughout the engagement.
You’ll also support post-onboarding Value Realization Projects that help customers expand or improve their use of 3E through activities such as migrations, integrations, data remediation, inventory and catalog optimization, and workflow enablement.
You’ll work closely with the broader account team with clear ownership: the Implementation Specialist owns implementation delivery, the CSM owns ongoing adoption, and the AM owns the commercial account.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys combining hands-on technical work with customer interaction, takes ownership of outcomes, and is comfortable working through changing priorities and ambiguity. Those characteristics also connect authentically with 3E's broader EVP around building, operating through ambiguity, and moving between planning and execution.
Location: This position supports remote work within the UK.
What You’ll Do
- Lead assigned customer implementations from internal handoff and kickoff through configuration, validation, foundational training, launch, and formal handoff.
- Conduct implementation discovery and help confirm customer data readiness, environment requirements, security considerations, and integration prerequisites.
- Translate the scope of work into a documented implementation plan with milestones, deliverables, dependencies, assumptions, and customer responsibilities.
- Configure 3E customer environments, including inventory and structure, users and roles, integrations, and core workflows aligned with customer goals.
- Work directly with customer contacts and administrators to validate the solution and deliver foundational training.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Data, Cloud, technical specialists, and external implementation partners as required for delivery.
- Track milestones and identify risks, dependencies, or potential scope changes early.
- Follow established change-control processes when customer requests extend beyond the agreed scope.
- Hold customers accountable for implementation commitments such as data readiness, resourcing, testing, and sign-offs.
- Execute post-onboarding Value Realization Projects such as migrations, data remediation, integrations, inventory optimization, and workflow enablement.
- Maintain accurate project records and documented handoffs while managing multiple concurrent implementations, keeping status, configuration, outcomes, risks, next steps, and training needs visible and prioritizing work based on customer impact, project risk, and key milestones.
- Build technical proficiency across 3E products and work credibly with technical teams to troubleshoot implementation issues and identify risks; coding is not required.
- Surface customer-identified bugs, product issues, and feature requests to the appropriate internal teams.
What Makes You a Great Fit

- Experience managing multiple concurrent customer projects or implementations to deadlines and measurable outcomes.
- Ability to translate customer requirements and agreed scope into clear implementation activities, milestones, and deliverables.
- Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
