WHOOP is hiring a Senior Manager, Creative Operations to lead complex, high-visibility creative initiatives and evolve the operational foundation that powers the Creative and Marketing organizations. Reporting to the Director of Brand Operations & Production, you will oversee strategic initiatives including product releases, cultural moments, and integrated brand campaigns while serving as a trusted operational partner to senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
This role combines hands-on program leadership with broader operational ownership. You will ensure work is appropriately scoped, prioritized, resourced, and delivered while identifying opportunities to improve how teams collaborate and operate at scale. You will also manage and develop Creative Operations team members while maintaining direct ownership of critical programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead complex, high-visibility creative and marketing initiatives from planning through delivery, establishing clear scopes, timelines, owners, dependencies, budgets, and decision points.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy across fast-moving initiatives, proactively identifying risks, resolving roadblocks, navigating tradeoffs, and escalating when appropriate to keep work moving forward.
- Own resource, capacity, and budget planning across assigned projects and workstreams, identifying workload imbalances, financial risks, and opportunities to improve efficiency and prioritization.
- Develop and implement scalable operational systems, processes, and ways of working in partnership with the Director of Brand Operations & Production, driving adoption and continuously improving how Creative and Marketing teams operate.
- Build strong cross-functional accountability and handoffs throughout the creative development process, ensuring stakeholders understand requirements, responsibilities, timelines, dependencies, and decision points.
- Manage and coach Creative Operations team members while supporting the evolution of the Creative organization’s operational infrastructure, including project management platforms, digital asset management systems, workflow automation, and AI-enabled tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 8+ years of experience in creative operations, marketing operations, project or program management, agency operations, or a related operational discipline.
- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale, complex creative or marketing initiatives with significant budgets while balancing scope, resources, timelines, and financial considerations.
- Strong understanding of creative development workflows, resource planning, capacity management, and prioritization within creative, brand, marketing, or integrated campaign organizations.
- Experience designing and implementing operational processes, systems, and tools that improve collaboration, efficiency, and scalability across teams.
- Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with senior leaders, influence cross-functional stakeholders, navigate ambiguity, and drive alignment across competing priorities.
- Experience managing and developing individual contributors while maintaining hands-on ownership of complex programs and initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, navigate tradeoffs, and translate operational insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strong commitment to embracing and leveraging AI tools in day-to-day tasks, ensuring AI-assisted work aligns with the same high-quality standards as personal contributions.
