ABOUT HAULER HERO Hauler Hero builds the operating system for residential and commercial waste haulers, including dispatch, routing, billing, payments, customer management, reporting, and the driver app that ties field operations together. Our customers are private hauler owners, operators, and municipal waste leaders running essential services every day. Many are still managing their businesses through paper tickets, whiteboards, spreadsheets, disconnected systems, and legacy software. The result is missed revenue, messy routes, limited visibility, and too much time spent fighting fires instead of growing the business. Today, we serve 240+ haulers across the country and are scaling quickly. We are a well-funded, fast-moving vertical SaaS company bringing modern software to an essential industry where the customer need is clear and the opportunity is large. ABOUT THE ROLE We are looking for a LATAM-based contractor to run Hauler Hero's trade show and events program across the United States and Canada, from finding the right shows to following up on every lead. You will build and manage our events calendar, decide with leadership which shows are worth it, secure early-bird pricing, coordinate booth logistics through our shipping vendor, and make sure every lead reaches Sales quickly. You will travel to some U.S. shows to run the booth on site. This is not just an event-logistics role. We need someone who treats each show as an investment: chooses carefully, plans early, measures results and keeps improving the program. WHAT YOU’LL OWN EVENT DISCOVERY AND CALENDAR You will constantly scout waste industry events, conferences and regional association meetings, using our event dashboard and AI-assisted weekly scans. You will maintain the yearly events calendar and score each show on audience, fit with our ideal customer, cost and past results, so we can make clear go or no-go decisions. REGISTRATION, EARLY BIRDS AND BUDGET You will register for shows early to lock in early-bird pricing and better booth spots, with a goal of saving 10–15% of the yearly events budget or turning those savings into sponsorships and speaking slots. You will track every event's budget, including booth, sponsorship, travel and shipping. LOGISTICS AND BOOTH OPERATIONS You will coordinate booth gear, shipping and storage through our logistics vendor, book travel, manage show deadlines and prepare everything on our pre-event checklist. You will work with our Multimedia Designer on booth graphics, handouts and presentations. ON-SITE EXECUTION You will travel to selected U.S. shows to set up, staff the booth with our team, book meetings and capture leads. LEAD FOLLOW-UP AND ROI You will make sure every event lead is in HubSpot within 48 hours, tagged with the event, and handed to Sales with an agreed follow-up. You will write a short results note after each show covering cost, leads, pipeline and won deals, so we can measure real return on every event. WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR The strongest candidates will likely have: - 2–5 years of experience in event marketing, trade show management, field marketing or event production - Excellent written English and strong spoken English, comfortable working face to face with U.S. customers at shows - A valid U.S. visa or the ability to travel to the United States for events, several times a year - Strong project management skills and comfort juggling many deadlines at once - High attention to detail around registrations, shipping deadlines, travel and budgets - Comfort negotiating with organizers and vendors - An outgoing, professional presence at a booth - Comfort using tools like Notion, Google Workspace, HubSpot and spreadsheets - Reliable high-speed internet and availability during core U.S. business hours BONUS POINTS - Experience with B2B or SaaS trade shows in the United States - Experience in waste, recycling, logistics, transportation, field services or public works - Experience managing booth shipping and freight vendors - Experience booking sponsorships or speaking sessions - Experience measuring event ROI in a CRM WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE FIRST 30 DAYS — LEARN You will learn Hauler Hero's product and customers, review our 2027 events list and past results, and take over the weekly event scan and the logistics vendor relationship. FIRST 60 DAYS — BUILD You will score the 2027 calendar go or no-go, secure early-bird registrations for confirmed shows, and have everything ready for our first shows of 2027. FIRST 90 DAYS — OWN You will run the events program end to end, including on-site execution of our Q1 shows, a working lead follow-up process with Sales and results notes for every event. LOCATION AND WORK STYLE This is a remote contractor role for candidates based in LATAM, with a preference for candidates in Argentina or similar U.S.-aligned time zones. The role includes travel to U.S. events, with travel costs covered by Hauler Hero. Candidates must have strong English writing and speaking skills, reliable high-speed internet, and availability to work during core U.S. business hours. WHAT WE OFFER - A front-row seat at a well-funded, fast-growing company transforming an essential industry - Direct impact on how many customers we meet and win at trade shows - The opportunity to build the events program and its playbook from the ground up - Travel to industry events across the United States - A highly cross-functional role with visibility across marketing, sales and leadership - Remote-first flexibility with a distributed team
