We are currently seeking a Solutions Engineer with a focus in Projects & Development to join our team. Please note that this position is in-person in our Omaha office, and we are unable to consider remote candidates. This role is full-time, hourly, and non-exempt; however, part-time or 1099 may be considered. Summary: Frankel Technology Services (FTS) is looking for a versatile Solutions Engineer who thrives on variety and enjoys solving complex technical challenges. As part of our Projects & Development team, you’ll work across cloud infrastructure, software development, automation, data migrations, Power Platform, and AI solutions. This isn’t a traditional help desk or systems administrator role. One day might have you building an Azure environment in the morning, automating a business process after lunch, troubleshooting a SQL issue in the afternoon, and helping a client implement an AI solution before the day is over. We’re looking for someone who is comfortable moving between infrastructure and development, from migrating data and applications and writing code and SQL queries to building Power Platform solutions and leveraging Microsoft AI technologies. If you enjoy hands-on problem-solving, learning emerging technologies, and working directly with clients to modernize and improve their operations, this role offers the opportunity to do it all. What You'll Do: - Build and manage Azure Virtual Desktop and Azure infrastructure - Develop custom business applications and integrations - Work with SQL databases, reporting, and analytics - Collaborate directly with clients to solve business problems - Support strategic technology transformation projects - Implement Microsoft AI and Copilot solutions - Create Power Platform solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate - Design and execute data migration projects Required Qualifications: - Able to work in-person in our Omaha, NE office between the hours of 8:00AM-5:00PM M-F - A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT, software development, cloud engineering, or related roles - Strong Microsoft ecosystem experience (including Microsoft 365 and Entra ID) - SQL and database experience - Power Platform knowledge - Excellent communication and consulting skills - Desire to learn and continuously expand technical capabilities - Interest in AI and automation technologies - Development and scripting experience - Azure cloud expertise (Azure Virtual Machines and Azure Virtual Desktop - Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills Preferred Qualifications: - Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI experience - C#, .NET, JavaScript, Python, or similar programming languages - Azure certifications - Experience in MSP or consulting environments - Experience with API development and integrations - AI implementation and governance experience - Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD processes.
