The Client Assignment Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, coordination, and operational oversight of NYPCC’s Case Management Department across all program locations. The Client Assignment Manager holds administrative ownership of the intake process, from screening through admission, and ensures that Case Management services, admissions, assignments, documentation, and workflows are completed efficiently, consistently, and in accordance with NYPCC policies and applicable OMH regulatory requirements.  The Client Assignment Manager provides leadership and direction to the Case Manager Supervisor and Case Management team, establishes departmental priorities and expectations, monitors quality and performance, identifies opportunities for process improvement, and ensures staff have the training, resources, and support necessary to effectively serve NYPCC clients. Responsibilities: - Provide overall leadership and operational oversight of the Case Management Department across all NYPCC program locations, ensuring consistent practices, effective workflows, and high-quality service delivery.  - Supervise, coach, and develop the Case Manager Supervisor and other designated Case Management staff, providing guidance on departmental priorities, performance, and escalated concerns.  - Oversee Case Management referral processes, caseload distribution, staffing needs, productivity, and departmental performance to ensure services are delivered efficiently and timely.  - Run and review Case Management reports to monitor access, referral, and intake data, as well as caseloads, productivity, timeliness, and other key performance indicators; identify trends and provide updates and recommendations to leadership.  - Ensure Case Management practices, documentation, and workflows remain compliant with NYPCC policies, quality standards, and applicable OMH regulatory requirements.  - Lead departmental quality improvement efforts by monitoring performance indicators, identifying trends or barriers, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency, accountability, and service delivery.  - Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing professional development for the Case Management team, ensuring staff have the knowledge and resources necessary to perform effectively.  - Collaborate with clinical leadership and other departments to address Case Management needs, resolve operational challenges, and support organizational initiatives.  - Analyze departmental data and provide leadership with updates and recommendations related to referral activity, staffing, productivity, quality, and overall department performance.  - Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by Supervisor.  - Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, Psychology, Social Services, or a related field required.  - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working in a social service, behavioral health, or mental health setting.  - Minimum of 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience, preferably overseeing Case Management or related services.  - Experience managing staff across multiple locations or programs strongly preferred.  - Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred  - Strong knowledge of Case Management principles, including advocacy, assessment, service planning, community linkages/referrals, documentation, and follow-up.  - Working knowledge of OMH regulations and behavioral health service requirements preferred.  - Experience utilizing Electronic Health Record systems; knowledge of PSYCKES and EPACES preferred.  - Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold staff accountable.  - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to identify trends and improve departmental performance.  - Excellent organizational, time-management, written, and verbal communication skills.  - Ability to manage competing priorities and lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.  - Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of leadership.  - Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  - Passionate about NYPCC’s mission and values.  Salary: $90,000 - $95,000 per year Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications.
