About the Role:
A Curriculum Developer is responsible for the consistent design, development and deployment of technical and solution training for Velotic, its channel, partners and customers.  This position reports to the Curriculum Leader, Velotic Education Services and works integrally with associated teams to deliver our curriculum plan.  This will include select duties as designer, content developer, and editor.  Successful candidates must be able work cross-functionally with engineering, marketing, and services teams in the development of technical enablement assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Curriculum Design
- Student persona(s) selection
- Modality selection (eg. eLearning, video-based, self-guided hands on, Instructor-Led, examination and certification)
- Learning objectives and outcomes
- Project planning
- SME coordinationCurriculum Development
- Generation of Video, HTML and PDF assets - student
- Development of presentation assets, guides - instructor
- Courseware templating for LMS
- Sample system constructionCurriculum lifecycle management and maintenance
- Review feedback and metrics
- Review lifecycle stage and estimate maintenance effort
- Revise or repurpose materials according to forecasted needs
- Communicate progress to functional stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree – industry-related or role-related
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Excellent written English skills with demonstrated ability to translate complex, technical concepts into clear, accessible learning materials
- Documentation development and management for a software company or COE
- Experienced software practitioner – technically proficient with software tools and suites including operation, configuration and extension (not programming)
