ROLE OVERVIEW
The Finance Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the financial management, reporting, planning and control activities across the assigned region. The role provides financial support and commercial insight to regional or country CBO, ensuring accurate and timely financial information, strong financial controls and compliance with Group policies and applicable statutory requirements.
The Finance Manager will support business performance, drive financial discipline and provide meaningful analysis to support commercial and operational decision-making.
The role will also contribute to the continuous improvement and standardisation of finance processes across the region.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Financial Management & Reporting
- Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting for the region.
- Ensure financial results are appropriately analysed, understood and communicated to regional and Group leadership.
- Monitor revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, working capital, cash flow and overall financial performance.
- Provide clear commentary and insight into key financial variances, risks and opportunities.
- Ensure consistent application of Group accounting policies and reporting standards across the region.
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
Business Partnering & Commercial Support
- Act as a trusted finance business partner to regional and country leadership teams.
- Challenge assumptions and provide constructive recommendations to improve profitability and business performance.
- Translate financial information into clear and actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
Team Management
- Directly manage, support, and develop one finance team member.
- Set clear objectives and priorities, provide regular feedback, support professional development and encourage continuous improvement.
- Review the quality and timeliness of work and ensure appropriate processes and controls are followed.
- Strong collaboration with the wider finance team
Financial Controls & Governance
- Maintain a strong control environment across the region in accordance with Group policies and procedures, ensuring they operate effectively.
- Identify control weaknesses and lead corrective actions where required.
- Lead external audit activities ensuring timely resolution of audit findings.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax requirements and local statutory obligations.
- Promote a strong culture of financial governance and accountability.
Cash Flow & Working Capital
- Provide accurate cash forecasts and support effective regional liquidity management.
- Work with operational teams to improve billing accuracy, collections and manage overdue receivables.
- Work with operational teams to ensure accurate recording and payment of vendor invoices.
Process Improvement & Transformation
- Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency, consistency and effectiveness of regional finance processes.
- Drive standardisation and automation of reporting and financial processes where appropriate.
- Promote the use of data, technology and analytics to improve financial visibility and decision-making.
Key Performance Indicators
Performance in the role will typically be measured against:
- Accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
- Working capital and cash flow management.
- Effectiveness of financial controls and audit outcomes.
- Compliance with Group policies and statutory requirements.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CPA or equivalent.
- Significant experience in a finance management role, preferably within a multinational organisation.
- Strong experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Demonstrated experience partnering with non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of financial controls, accounting principles and governance.
- Experience working across multiple countries is highly desirable.
