Responsible for preparing and analyzing financial data to produce accurate and timely financial reports according to the principles of IFRS.
Essential Functions:
- Reconcile and record weekly payroll transactions and related month-end journal entries.
- Reconcile and analyze monthly sales tax activities to support compliance processes.
- Assist with submission of required financial reporting to the parent company.
- Participate in the improvement of assigned accounting processes and procedures.
- Assist with related audits and preparation of audit schedules and requests from auditors.
- Perform other job duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills:
- B.S. Degree, or equivalent, from a four-year college or technical school
- Minimum of 2 years accounting experience 
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational skills to ensure timely goal completion and accurate reportingPreferred Skills:
- Knowledge of IFRS, applicable laws, and regulations
- Experience with VertexPhysical Demands:  
- Regularly required to sit, stand; use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to talk and hear. Seldom lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
