Accounting Supervisor/Manager

FORTUNE 500 COMPANY MUST BE A CPA & HAVE A COMBINATION OF BIG 4/LARGE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE ACCOUNTING EXPERIENCE   The Accounting Manager will be responsible for the accurate and timely performance of various assigned functions in support of the month-end close and statutory reporting process.  Specifically, the Accounting Manager will oversee various close related functions, ensuring proper accounting treatment of transactions in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).  Responsibilities will include recording monthly journal entries, preparing and / or reviewing balance sheet accounting reconciliations, and supporting the quarterly reporting and audit cycles by preparing reporting schedules and assisting with external audit requests.   In addition to supporting the monthly close process the Accounting Manager will also be responsible for preparing statutory financial statements and supporting schedules in connection with our various statutory audits.    The Accounting Manager will assist with miscellaneous projects throughout the year including intangible asset testing, technical accounting research and any other projects that may arise. The candidate should be self motivated and will be required to independently take action to achieve the organization’s goals.  The candidate should have strong PC skills, including Excel, Oracle and Hyperion (Enterprise/HFM) and strong communication skills (both written and verbal). $90K to $100K Please email [email protected]
