Big Data Team Leader

Location: Central Israel Scope: Full Time - Employed Description: Are you passionate about building high-performance, real-time data platforms at scale? We're looking for a Big Data Team Leader to drive the design, development, and operation of mission-critical data pipelines that power real-time insights, automation, and AI-driven decision-making. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and own highly scalable distributed systems from architecture through production. Key Responsibilities - Lead and mentor a team of Big Data Engineers. - Architect, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and streaming platforms. - Own services end-to-end: design, development, deployment, monitoring, and operations. - Drive engineering excellence, performance optimization, observability, and reliability. - Partner closely with AI, ML, and backend teams to enable real-time automation and intelligent decision-making. - Help define technical direction, best practices, and scalable data architecture.
