Counsel, Labor Employment and Benefits

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Counsel, Labor Employment and Benefits based in United States. This role serves as a strategic legal advisor on enterprise-wide labor, employment, and benefits matters across a global organization. You will provide practical, risk-based counsel throughout the full employment lifecycle, from recruitment and performance management through termination and organizational change. The position partners closely with senior business leaders, Human Resources, Total Rewards, Benefits, Compliance, and other legal stakeholders to address complex employment matters. You will advise on benefits, leaves, accommodations, disputes, investigations, collective bargaining, employment agreements, severance, and evolving labor and employment regulations. The role combines subject-matter expertise with strong business judgment, requiring the ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives. You will also contribute to policies, training, strategic initiatives, and cross-functional projects while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This is a fully remote opportunity with global scope and regular collaboration across regions and functions.
