Product Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Product Engineer based in Spain. This is a high-ownership Product Engineer role within a small, senior team building foundational technology for the commercial insurance market. You will take complex problems from an initial thesis through design, implementation, deployment, and continuous iteration, with broad freedom over how solutions are built. The role spans the full product and engineering stack, from user interfaces and APIs to data models, background jobs, and AI-powered workflows. You will work with large-scale, structured insurance data to create intuitive products used by brokers, lenders, underwriters, and other insurance professionals. AI is deeply embedded in the engineering workflow, and you will be expected to use modern coding agents and AI tooling to increase development speed and leverage. With no traditional Product Manager or QA layer, Product Engineers are expected to exercise strong product judgment, challenge assumptions, and own outcomes rather than simply execute specifications.
