The Opportunity
BlueScope Building Components is looking for a Branch Manager to join our Lysaght team based in Darwin, NT. BlueScope Building Components, a division of BlueScope in Australia, manufactures and markets steel building products, solutions and services through its four leading brands: Lysaght, Fielders, Ranbuild and Kiteleys.
This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a small but strategically important branch with significant growth potential. You’ll lead an experienced team across sales, customer service, manufacturing and operations, while guiding the branch through operational change and positioning the business for future growth.
What Will You Do?
In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for the overall performance of the Darwin branch, including its people, safety, customers, operations and commercial outcomes.
- lead, support and develop a team of eight across sales, customer service, operations and manufacturing
- oversee day-to-day branch operations, safety, production and transport activities
- drive customer service, branch performance and market growth
- manage branch costs and commercial outcomes, with support from the broader business
- build strong relationships with key customers and identify opportunities for growth
- lead the implementation and stabilisation of new machinery, technology and operating processes
- promote a safe, engaged and high-performing team cultureMore About You
