Raptive is seeking an Advertising Operations Director to report to the VP, Revenue & Sales Operations. The Ad Ops Director will oversee a team of ad traffickers who use Placements.io (PIO) and Google Ad Manager (GAM). The Director will work closely with the Direct Sales to ensure all campaign objectives are met. The ideal candidate is a digital advertising enthusiast with a high attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Provide best in class service to the Direct Sales department and their advertising clients
- Manage a team of four ad trafficking employees and contractors
- Monitor and optimize all digital ad campaigns to ensure KPIs are met
- Diagnose and troubleshoot campaign anomalies and performance issues
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and increase efficiency using AI and other methods
- Perform availability forecasts
- Reconcile first-party ad server and third-party delivery
- Oversee the process to invoice advertising clients each month
- Maintain ad specifications and guidelines
THE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING TO THE JOB
Required
- 5+ years of experience using GAM
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with viewability, in-demo and brand-safety measurement tools
- Knowledge of creative tags, iframes, VAST, etc.
- Experience working with sales personnel under tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented, organized and process-driven
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- BA/BS degree
Preferred
- 7+ years of ad operations experience at a digital publisher
- Proficiency in Placements.io
- Familiarity with the digital advertising ecosystem and programmatic media buying
- Google Campaign Manager, Celtra, JavaScript, HTML and CSS

The base salary range for this position is $135,000-$170,000. The range provided is Raptive’s reasonable estimate of the annualized base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, geographic location, knowledge, skills and abilities. This role is eligible for additional incentive compensation that isn’t included in the posted range.
