OUR MISSION
We exist to create a more connected, compassionate, and confident experience for people with cancer and those who care for them. We make it easier to get answers, access high-quality care quickly, and feel supported throughout treatment and beyond.
Today, Thyme Care is a market-leading value-based oncology care enabler, partnering with national and regional health plans, providers, and employers to deliver better outcomes and lower costs for thousands of people across the country. Our model combines high-touch human support with powerful technology and AI to bring together everyone involved in a person’s cancer journey: caregivers, oncologists, health plans, and employers.
As a tech-native organization, we believe technology should strengthen the human connection at the center of care. Through data science, automation, and AI, we simplify complexity, improve collaboration, and help care teams focus on what matters most: supporting people through cancer.
Looking ahead, our vision is bold: to become a household name in cancer care, where every person diagnosed asks for Thyme Care by name. If you’re inspired to make cancer care more human and to help reimagine what’s possible, we’d love to meet you. Together, we can build a future where every person with cancer feels truly cared for, in every moment that matters.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts – Independent Practices, you’ll join our Thyme Care Oncology Partner team to deepen collaboration with strategic oncology practice partners. Working closely with your manager and our commercial directors, you’ll translate shared priorities into practical plans that strengthen care delivery integration, support adoption of TC Signal, and advance other practice-facing initiatives. You’ll bring a consultative, hands-on approach to helping these partnerships deliver value for practices and the people with cancer they serve.
- Manage ongoing account health — Serve as the primary point of contact for live partnerships. Run recurring operating reviews, track enrollment and engagement performance, surface issues early, and drive resolution across Thyme Care and partner teams.
- Operationalize our collaboration model — Run working sessions with partner clinical and operational leaders to define delegation levels and responsibilities across care navigation functions, and translate those decisions into documented workflows both teams follow.
- Build multi-level relationships — Develop trusted relationships across partner organizations, from nurse navigators to pharmacy, value based care operations, and executive sponsors.
- Drive performance and expansion — Use enrollment, engagement, and outcomes data to identify improvement opportunities, then partner internally and externally to act on them. Identify and tee up opportunities to expand the partnership into new populations, programs, or markets.
- Inform product and service expansion — Bring structured partner feedback back to product, clinical, and growth teams to sharpen our model and our pitch.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare, with meaningful time spent in health care consulting, provider-facing implementation, or account management at a healthcare services or digital health company
- A track record of taking partnerships from signature to steady-state: you've run implementations, built joint operating models, and owned executive-level relationships
- Fluency in how independent practices or health systems work: care team roles, committee dynamics, and the realities of change management inside large provider organizations
- Familiarity with value-based care arrangements and programs; oncology experience is a strong plus
- Exceptional project management: you create structure, keep many workstreams moving, and never let a commitment slip
- A relationship-first operating style, paired with the directness to hold partners and internal teams accountable
- Comfort with ambiguity and an early-stage environment where you'll help define the playbook, not just run it
- Willingness to travel to partner sites regularly
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience supporting oncology service lines, cancer centers, or oncology value-based programs
- Experience with clinical workflow integration, EHR-adjacent implementation, or care management program launches
WHAT LEADS TO SUCCESS
Act with our members in mind. You connect day-to-day decisions to the experience of people with cancer. You consider how changes will affect both the practice teams delivering care and the members receiving it.
Lead with curiosity. You seek to understand before recommending a solution. You ask thoughtful questions, listen for underlying needs, and adapt your approach to each practice’s priorities.
Make the complex practical. You help teams move from broad ideas to clear decisions and actionable next steps. You recognize when a straightforward solution will serve a partner better than a more elaborate one.
Balance partnership with accountability. You approach difficult conversations with empathy and directness. You can challenge an assumption, reset expectations, or address a missed commitment while preserving trust.
Exercise sound judgment. You distinguish what needs immediate attention from what can wait. You know when to move independently, when to bring in others, and when to escalate an issue with a recommendation.
