Your role as Portfolio Management Intern
You will join the Portfolio Management team, within the newly formed Investment Lab division.
The team's mission is to support Heritage's growth by contributing to portfolio construction, investment advice and organic growth initiatives. You will work directly with client portfolios daily, supporting the analysis of prospects’ portfolios across asset classes, the identification of optimisazion opportunities and the shaping of recommendations that drive how our clients invest.
You will be expected to learn fast and bring genuine rigor to everything you work on.
- Portfolio Analysis: supporting the review and analyse existing and prospective client portfolios across multiple asset classes and custodians, the assessment of the allocation structure, identifying inefficiencies (cost drag, concentration, gaps), and the building of a clear picture of where each portfolio stands relative to the client's objectives.
- Portfolio Optimisation: assist in developing improved allocation proposals, researching specific financial instruments (funds, ETFs, private market vehicles, structured products), and modelling the impact of potential changes.
- Client Materials: support the preparation of clear, well-structured presentation decks that translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations, working alongside senior stakeholders on high-priority client work.
Who we are looking for
A student or recent graduate with a strong foundation in finance or economics and a genuine interest in investment management.
- Solid understanding of financial markets and core asset classes: you understand the key concepts behind public equities, fixed income, alternative investments
- Comfort working with numbers: you feel comfortable in reading data, building models, and drawing analysis-based conclusions
- Strong communication skills: you can translate complex analysis into clear, structured and logic output
- Well-developed organizational skills: you can manage your own deadlines, run your own workstreams and be managed by outcome rather than micro-managed
- Extraordinary attention to detail: you bring a high personal bar for the quality of your work, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks
- Genuine curiosity: you are eager to spend time with expert professionals, deepening your understanding on wealth management and private markets
- English fluency is required
- Availability to start an Internship in November 2026.
