A Team Pacific Roofing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee commercial roofing projects from pre-construction through closeout. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of projects while working alongside a team dedicated to quality, safety, and exceptional customer service.
Location Requirement
No relocation assistance is provided for this position. Applicants must currently reside on the island or be prepared to relocate at their own expense.
Position Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing multiple commercial roofing projects while ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract requirements.
This position requires a strong leader who can effectively manage customers, subcontractors, suppliers, field personnel, and internal resources while maintaining the highest standards of quality and professionalism.
The successful candidate will leverage technology, communication, and project management best practices to maintain project performance and deliver exceptional results to our clients.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage multiple commercial roofing projects simultaneously from award through completion
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Review contracts, drawings, specifications, submittals, and project documentation
- Coordinate labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and logistics
- Monitor project performance, costs, productivity, and profitability
- Communicate regularly with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Identify and resolve project challenges before they impact schedules or budgets
- Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, purchase orders, and project correspondence
- Lead project meetings and maintain accurate project records
- Ensure compliance with company policies, contract requirements, and safety standards
- Support superintendents, foremen, and field personnel with project execution
- Track material procurement, deliveries, and inventory requirements
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the life of each project
- Assist with project closeout documentation and warranty requirements
- Promote and maintain a strong team-oriented culture
Qualifications
Required
- Minimum 3 years of recent, verifiable Project Management experience
- Experience managing commercial construction projects
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Reliable transportation
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Willingness to work the hours necessary to successfully manage projects
Preferred
- Commercial roofing experience, including new construction and reroofing projects
- Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and technical documents
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite
- AutoCAD
- PC Draft
- Bluebeam Revu
- Experience with construction management software and project tracking systems
- Knowledge of military, government, or federal construction projects
Military Installation Access
This position requires access to military installations for project meetings, inspections, and project management activities.
