What Future Entry-Level Opportunities May Include While specific responsibilities will vary by site, study, and future opportunity, entry-level clinical research professionals may have the opportunity to: Support clinical research studies and participant visits under appropriate supervision. Assist with participant flow, including greeting participants, rooming, and preparing for study visits. Support data collection and clinical research documentation. Assist with organizing study materials, supplies, and visit documentation. Apply existing knowledge of clinical procedures such as vital signs, EKGs, phlebotomy, specimen collection, and specimen processing, as appropriate to the role. Support laboratory and specimen-related workflows. Build upon an existing understanding of how clinical research protocols are implemented in a real-world research environment. Apply and further develop knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Good Documentation Practices, SOPs, and regulatory requirements. Interact with study participants and contribute to a positive, patient-centered experience. Work alongside Clinical Research Coordinators, investigators, and other research professionals. Gain additional experience with clinical research systems, documentation platforms, and study workflows. Continue developing the skills and experience needed to grow within clinical research. We're looking to connect with recent graduates and entry-level clinical research professionals who already have foundational clinical research knowledge, training, or experience and are interested in continuing to build a career in the field. This talent community may be a good fit for individuals who have recently completed a degree program and gained clinical research experience through an internship, academic research, or another hands-on setting, as well as individuals who have successfully completed a clinical research fast-track or similar structured training program designed to prepare them for entry-level clinical research work.
