QA Automation Engineer (Playwright + Typescript/FinTech Project)

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer for a long-term, fully remote opportunity in a fast-moving fintech environment. You’ll work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to strengthen automation coverage and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of modern financial software. Responsibilities: - Design, build, and maintain automated testing frameworks across web applications, APIs, backend services, and third-party integrations. - Develop and execute unit, integration, regression, and end-to-end automated test suites to ensure system reliability, stability, and overall quality. - Create and maintain automated tests for complex workflows, edge cases, data integrity, and state transitions across services. - Integrate and manage automated testing within CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins. - Conduct performance, scalability, and load testing across core services and infrastructure to identify bottlenecks and reliability risks. - Identify, document, and track bugs, performance issues, and system weaknesses while partnering closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to improve QA processes, automation coverage, and testing standards.
