About WEKA WEKA is architecting a new approach to the enterprise data stack built for the age of reasoning. NeuralMesh by WEKA sets the standard for agentic AI data infrastructure with a cloud and AI-native software solution that can be deployed anywhere. It transforms legacy data silos into data pipelines that dramatically increase GPU utilization and make AI model training and inference, machine learning, and other compute-intensive workloads run faster, work more efficiently, and consume less energy. WEKA is a pre-IPO, growth-stage company on a hyper-growth trajectory. We've raised $375M in capital with dozens of world-class venture capital and strategic investors. We help the world's largest and most innovative enterprises and research organizations, including 12 of the Fortune 50, achieve discoveries, insights, and business outcomes faster and more sustainably. We're passionate about solving our customers' most complex data challenges to accelerate intelligent innovation and business value. If you share our passion, we invite you to join us on this exciting journey. What's Cool About This Job This is an opportunity to build and lead the delivery team behind WEKA's most critical integrations. As Senior Manager, Professional Services, you will own the people, the quality, and the capacity of a regional delivery pod — the Solutions Architects and Technical Engagement Managers who deliver the Forward Deployed Experience: WEKA's model for embedding a named team inside a customer's build, from the first design review through to acceptance. This is a techno-managerial role. You will be technical enough to read an architecture, challenge a schedule, and recognize when a design review has gone wrong — and managerial enough to understand that your job is to grow the people who do that work rather than to do it yourself. You will operate at the intersection of delivery, sales, and product, and your leadership will determine whether WEKA's delivery capability scales with demand or becomes the constraint on it. What You Will Do - Lead, mentor, and develop a regional pod of Solutions Architects and Technical Engagement Managers, giving every engineer a manager in their own region and time zone. - Set clear priorities and performance expectations, and own career development, progression planning, and technical growth paths for each member of the team. - Own hiring for the pod: define the bar, run the loop, and calibrate against the wider Professional Services organization. - Build bench strength deliberately, so that no engagement depends on a single individual and no individual is the reason an engagement slips. - Own delivery quality across every engagement the pod runs — on time, in scope, and accepted on the first attempt wherever possible. - Review delivery approaches, architectures, and schedules before they are committed, and intervene early when an engagement begins to drift. - Act as the regional escalation point for delivery issues and know when to escalate to program leadership rather than absorb the risk locally. - Ensure engagements follow the agreed operating model and reference designs rather than a bespoke approach negotiated build by build. - Own resourcing for the region: match the right people to the right engagements at the right time, and hold the line when demand exceeds capacity. - Track and manage utilization, forecast capacity against the pipeline, and surface the gap to leadership before it becomes a delivery failure. - Work with Sales on engagement qualification and scoping, so that what is sold matches what the pod can actually deliver. - Partner with the Program Director on program-level outcomes — feeding regional delivery reality into the operating model and adopting that model consistently in return. - Work with Premium Services so that the transition from build into run-state operations is planned before acceptance rather than after it. - Partner with regional Sales leadership on scoping, services attach, and the commercial health of engagements in the territory. - Advocate for customer and field needs with R&D and Product, carrying structured evidence from the pod's engagements rather than anecdote. - Define, monitor, and continuously improve the KPIs that measure delivery effectiveness in the region — acceptance on first attempt, time to acceptance, utilization, and cost recovery. - Identify process and tooling gaps and drive the initiatives that close them, so that each engagement costs less to deliver than the one before it. - Contribute to Professional Services methodology, playbooks, and delivery standards on behalf of the region. What You Will Bring - Minimum 10 years of overall experience in professional services, technical delivery, or enterprise infrastructure, with at least 5-6 years in a people management role leading customer-facing technical team. - Demonstrated success managing solutions architects, engagement or project managers, or comparable delivery professionals at regional scale. - Strong technical foundation across storage, networking, Linux, and public cloud — enough to review an architecture, challenge a schedule, and earn the respect of senior architects without doing their job for them. - Experience owning delivery quality and utilization for a team or region, including resourcing decisions made under real constraint. - Proven ability to define and improve delivery KPIs and to translate operational data into decisions for senior leadership. - Experience delivering in multi-party environments — customers, partners, OEMs, and channel — where your team held no authority over the other parties involved. - Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, R&D, and Product organizations in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present clearly and confidently to executive stakeholders and technical audiences alike. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. - Startup or software product company background strongly preferred. The WEKA Way: - We are Accountable: We take full ownership, always–even when things don’t go as planned. We lead with integrity, show up with responsibility & ownership, and hold ourselves and each other to the highest standards. - We are Brave: We question the status quo, push boundaries, and take smart risks when needed. We welcome challenges and embrace debates as opportunities for growth, turning courage into fuel for innovation. - We are Collaborative: True collaboration isn’t only about working together. It’s about lifting one another up to succeed collectively. We are team-oriented and communicate with empathy and respect. We challenge each other and conduct positive conflict resolution. We are being transparent about our goals and results. And together, we’re unstoppable. - We are Customer Centric: Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. We actively listen and prioritize the success of our customers, and every decision we make is driven by how we can better serve, support, and empower them to succeed. When our customers win, we win.
