Position Summary
The Doctoral Ed Leadership Academic Enrollment Advisor is responsible for assisting students within the Education department’s doctoral program and programs that feed into the doctoral program, focusing on advisement, onboarding, and enrolling students while providing administrative support and data analytics to drive enrollment and student success.
Essential Job Duties
• Coordinate activities and maintain records for the students and the program including feeder programs.
• Complete course evaluations and substitutions of students in program including feeder programs.
• Tracking student progress and assisting students through various steps of the program(s) to completion.
• Conduct APA review of student dissertation/capstone projects.
• Coordinate and assist students through IRB, Presentations, Article Submissions, Dissertation Release Forms, etc.
• Provide administrative support and data analytics for department initiatives.
• Plan and implement new processes, procedures, and projects.
• Respond to queries and correspondence from students, employees, and the public.
• Maintain and organize academic documents, files, and records.
• Participate in departmental committees.
• Host workshops and meetings for various educational programs.
• Build and maintain partnerships with Local Education Agencies (LEAs).
• Recruit, advise, and enroll students for the program and feeder programs.
• Connect students to programs on campus like the writing center, scholarships, financial aid, etc.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or designee.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of experience in related field
• Master’s degree preferred
• Experience in higher education administration
• Experience working with students

• None
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Strong project management skills with ability to coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Proficient in providing administrative support and maintaining detailed records
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with various stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills with ability to gather and analyze data for reporting purposes
• Excellent communication skills with ability to conduct workshops and presentations
• Knowledge of educational programs
• Knowledge of management practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must have strong work ethic and lead by example
• Must be a professional, credible and respected representative of the institution internally and in the community
• Demonstrated willingness and ability to act ethically and socially responsible
• Ability to communicate in a timely and courteous manner
