In this role, you will manage the day-to-day administration, troubleshooting, remediation, and lifecycle management for enterprise endpoint platforms, including Microsoft Intune, MECM, and Jamf Pro. Beyond technical management, this position relies on building collaborative relationships across IT@ND to streamline support workflows, drive automation, and ensure endpoint services remain secure and consistently supported campus-wide.
What You'll Do:
- Administer and support enterprise endpoint management services across Microsoft Intune, MECM/Configuration Manager, Jamf Pro, Entra ID, Apple School Manager, and related technologies, including provisioning, enrollment, configuration, compliance, application delivery, OS updates, security remediation, inventory, and device lifecycle management.
- Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex Windows and macOS issues spanning endpoint platforms, operating systems, applications, identity, networking, and security controls, including approved device-management actions such as resets, wipes, retirements, ownership changes, Activation Lock remediation, and record cleanup.
- Improve endpoint operations through automation, testing, and analysis by developing scripts, tools, reports, and workflows; validating policies, applications, updates, and provisioning changes; and identifying recurring issues and opportunities to improve reliability and user experience.
- Partner across IT@ND to strengthen endpoint service delivery, including maintaining operational documentation, supporting Incident, Problem, and Change Management in ServiceNow, and providing training and knowledge transfer that enables appropriate work to shift to Tier 1 and Tier 2 support teams.
- Support endpoint modernization and continuous improvement through participation in cross-functional projects, service enhancements, platform evolution, and ongoing technical skill development.
Minimum
- Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
- At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in endpoint engineering, systems administration, enterprise device management, or a related technical field.
- Demonstrated experience administering enterprise Windows and/or macOS environments using modern endpoint-management technologies such as Microsoft Intune, MECM/Configuration Manager, Jamf Pro, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of enterprise endpoint management, including provisioning, configuration, application delivery, operating-system servicing, security and compliance, identity, and device lifecycle management.
- Demonstrated ability to independently diagnose and resolve complex technical problems spanning endpoint platforms, operating systems, applications, identity, networking, and security controls.
- Experience using scripting or automation, such as PowerShell, shell scripting, APIs, or similar technologies, to support systems administration and operational improvement.
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical teams and translate complex technical processes into clear procedures.
- Ability to work in United States, now or in the future, without visa sponsorship.
Preferred
- Advanced experience supporting both Windows and macOS in a large enterprise environment.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, MECM/Configuration Manager, Jamf Pro, Microsoft Entra ID, Windows Autopilot, Apple Automated Device Enrollment, Apple School Manager, Microsoft Defender, BitLocker, FileVault, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with PowerShell, zsh/bash, Microsoft Graph, Jamf APIs, or other automation and integration technologies.
- Experience supporting large, complex, or decentralized endpoint environments.
- Experience developing operational procedures, knowledge articles, training materials, and delegated Tier 1/Tier 2 support workflows.
- Experience with endpoint security remediation, compliance reporting, and enterprise device-lifecycle processes.
- ITIL or relevant Microsoft, Jamf, Apple, or endpoint-management certifications.
We encourage anyone interested to apply, even if you don’t have all the skills mentioned above. As a professional in the ever-changing fields of technology and education, the selected candidate can expect to continue to develop in these areas through structured professional development programs, experiential learning, and self-directed growth.
Our team invests in helping each other learn and grow in our industry. You will be supported in your desire for well-being, life-work integration, and continued professional growth and development.
- Deadline to Apply (subject to change): Sunday, October 25th
