About uVault Storage
uVault Storage provides portable storage solutions to residential, commercial, retail, agricultural, and construction clients across central and southwest Ohio. We source, inspect, deliver, and manage a growing fleet of shipping containers for national retailers, general contractors, and local businesses. Our team is small, so each person shapes how clients see us.
The Role
We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused CDL driver to represent uVault in the field. You'll run the delivery and recovery of our container fleet safely, efficiently and on time. At every stop, you'll show clients the care and professionalism they expect from us.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate company-owned trucks and specialized trailer equipment to transport, deliver, and recover storage containers across our service area.
- Execute precise on-site placement, making sure each unit sits level, square, and exactly where the client needs it.
- Coordinate container acquisitions at depots, and run quality inspections before you accept any unit.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections in line with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Communicate proactively with clients before arrival, and partner with them on site to confirm placement.
- Coordinate with the operations team on payment collection and delivery records.
- Document every move through our software solutions, including photos and video verification, for accurate inventory and billing records.
- Support yard organization, asset management, and quarterly inventory audits.
- Operate in full compliance with all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety standards.
Qualifications
- A valid Commercial Driver's License and clean motor vehicle record.
- A current DOT medical certification.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and an FMCSA Clearinghouse query.
- Proven experience operating 40-foot trailers and flatbed equipment. Tilt-bed experience is a plus.
- The ability to inspect equipment and spot mechanical issues. A mechanical background with trucks or heavy equipment is a plus.
- The ability to lift and move heavy objects and to work outdoors in all conditions.
- Comfort with mobile technology and digital documentation tools.
- Strong communication skills, a client-first mindset, and the ability to work well with a team.
Compensation & Benefits
- $30–$35 per hour, based on experience.
- Part-time and full-time flexible scheduling available.
- Consistent, reliable hours.
- Health insurance and other benefits.
- A collaborative, supportive team.
- Room to grow with the company.
