We pride ourselves on our collaborative work environment and culture, which embraces our mission of providing financial and non-financial benefits back to the members of the Seneca Nation. Seneca Environmental Solutions is seeking a Solar Operations Coordinator to serve as a regular field presence across the Moapa Band of Paiutes renewable energy portfolio. The role supports operating solar facilities, development-stage solar and battery projects, and active construction of Southern Bighorn Solar I and II. This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who can work effectively with the Moapa Band of Paiutes government staff, private developers, EPC contractors, subcontractors, inspectors, consultants, and Seneca project leadership. The Coordinator will observe field conditions, track commitments, support compliance coordination, and raise issues early. The role does not direct contractor work or exercise tribal regulatory authority. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - Maintain frequent presence at Moapa-area construction and operating sites. - Coordinate follow-up among developers, EPC contractors, subcontractors, consultants, tribal staff, and Seneca leadership. - Observe construction progress, equipment deliveries, site conditions, inspections, milestones, corrective actions, and closeout activities. - Support Moapa dust-control monitors through site observations, documentation, contractor communication, and corrective-action tracking. - Coordinate with the Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) on tribal-member hiring opportunities, contractor oversight, referral processes, staffing needs, certifications, and qualification records. - Help confirm required training and credentials, including heavy-equipment qualifications when applicable. This is coordination, not a training-program role. - Support permit, inspection, environmental, cultural, biological, safety, and compliance coordination. - Provide field notes, photographs, visit logs, action updates, and issue summaries to the Program Manager. - Track time and activities by SOW and contract task. Monthly client reporting remains with the Program Manager. Basic Qualifications: - Three (3) or more years of relevant construction, field operations, renewable energy, utility infrastructure, environmental compliance, or project coordination experience. - Experience working with contractors and subcontractors on active construction sites. - Ability to independently observe, document, coordinate, and follow issues through resolution. - Clear communication and sound professional judgment. - Ability to work respectfully with a sovereign tribal government and diverse stakeholders. - Valid driver license, routine local travel capability, and ability to meet site safety requirements. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Desired Skills: - Utility-scale solar, BESS, renewable-energy, electrical, civil, or industrial construction. - Dust-control, environmental, stormwater, erosion-control, or desert construction compliance. - TERO, tribal employment coordination, tribal projects, or contractor workforce-compliance coordination. - Heavy-equipment operation, operator credentials, equipment inspections, or qualification review. - OSHA 10 or OSHA 30, field safety, first-aid/CPR, or related certifications. - Permit coordination, inspections, QA/QC, equipment delivery tracking, punch lists, or project closeout. - Experience with utilizing AI-enabled software for project management and related automation. Equal Opportunity Statement: Seneca Holdings provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants without regard to race, color, religion, sex/gender, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability, marital status, genetic information and/or predisposing genetic characteristics, victim of domestic violence status, veteran status, or other protected class status. This policy applies to all terms and conditions of employment, including, but not limited to, hiring, placement, promotion, termination, layoff, recall, transfer, leave of absence, compensation and training. The Company also prohibits retaliation against any employee who exercises his or her rights under applicable anti-discrimination laws. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Company does give hiring preference to Seneca or Native individuals. Veterans with expertise in these areas are highly encouraged to apply.
