Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Foster department culture, champion diversity, equity, and inclusion across the department (5%)
- Lead recruiting and hiring efforts across for APAC data operations teams, including phone screens and on-site interviews (2%)
- Accountable for the training and ramping success of new hires on the APAC data operations teams (2%)
- Maintain regular cadence of 1:1s with each direct report to recap performance, identify improvement opportunities and support career development (8%)
- Accountable for creating quarterly competitive benchmarking documents on APAC datasets (2%)
- Develop expansive market knowledge of all players within the APAC data providers’ market (5%)
- Contribute and participate in bi-weekly Data Operations Leadership meetings to review department wide initiatives, people development, ELT updates, hiring and data quality (5%)
- Develop and spearhead APAC teams’ vision and accountable for driving strategic initiatives related to those teams (30%)
- Accountable for performing quality assurance on production profiles across various APAC datasets (10%)
- Support the development, maintenance, documentation, and rollout of APAC research methodologies (10%)
- Accountable for running and highlighting operational success and challenges during standardized biweekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews around APAC data operations (3%)
- Support operational and dataset strategy through budgeting, forecasting, and staffing through collaboration with director (3%)
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, and Go-To-Market teams to prioritize enhancements, address data gaps, and support client needs (10%)
- Partner with Product and Engineering teams to enhance data collection tools, automation capabilities, and workflow efficiency (5%)
- ***15 days remote work flexibility for a whole year
- *** 6 direct reports: 4 Data Operations Leads & 2 Senior Data Operations Associate
Skills and Qualifications:
- This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent and 5 years of related experience in financial data operations, investment research, or private markets intelligence in Data Operations related positions. In alternative, we accept a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Data Science, or related field, or foreign equivalent and 3 years of related experience in financial data operations, investment research, or private markets intelligence in Data Operations related positions.
- This position also requires People management experience overseeing multi-regional teams. Experience with recruiting and team development. Experience leveraging SQL and/or Python to analyze operational data and improve workflow efficiency. Experience with BI tools (e.g. PowerBI) for root cause analysis and KPI tracking. Experience implementing automation or AI-enabled research tools. Experience with building and executing multi-year data expansion roadmaps. Experience with APAC private and public capital markets and regionalized research methodologies. Experience with interfacing with clients to support our Sales and Customer Success teams. Compensation
- Annual base salary: $209,144-$209,144
- Target annual bonus percentage: 10%

The job conditions for this position are in a standard office setting. Employees in this position use PC and phone on an on-going basis throughout the day. Limited corporate travel may be required to remote offices or other business meetings and events.
