What's in it for You? - $23.00-$28.00 per hour, depending on experience - Four 10-hour workdays - Overtime available as project needs require - Health insurance - Paid time off (PTO) - 401(k) - Tools provided as required for the position - Commercial HVAC construction projects throughout Louisville and surrounding communities - Occasional regional work with you home most nights Why You’ll Love It Here - Work exclusively in commercial HVAC construction, not residential service calls - Build your experience on new construction and renovation projects, with a strong focus on healthcare facilities - Take on hands-on HVAC installation work involving ductwork, piping, commercial equipment, and system components - Experienced HVAC helpers with strong installation skills have an opportunity to grow into a mechanic role - Join a team that values dependable attendance, safe work practices, quality installation, and keeping projects on schedule - Work alongside project managers, superintendents, and skilled tradespeople on active commercial jobsites Your New Role - Work as an HVAC Construction Mechanic on commercial projects in Louisville, Kentucky, and surrounding communities - Install commercial sheet metal ductwork, diffusers, grilles, and associated HVAC components - Assist with setting rooftop units (RTUs), air handlers, exhaust fans, and make-up air units - Install refrigerant and condensate piping, including required supports - Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and shop drawings - Coordinate daily installation activities with project managers, superintendents, and other trades - Support HVAC equipment start-up, commissioning, punch lists, and project closeout - Perform work safely on ladders, lifts, rooftops, and active construction sites - Keep work areas clean, organized, safe, and on schedule Hiring Expectations: Apply today, complete a quick phone screening, and get ready for an interview with our team to discuss your goals and experience.
