Dental Hygienist

Botley Dental Practice is a well-established and reputable practice located in Botley, Oxford. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Hygienist to join our busy and friendly team. What We Offer - Established and loyal patient base with regular attenders - Existing patient list, currently booked up to 4 months in advance - Opportunity to see Direct Access patients - 30-minute appointments for routine hygiene - 60-minute appointments for periodontal treatment - Experienced and supportive dental team - Access to both ultrasonic and piezo scalers - Dental nurse support available - On-site decontamination facilities - Opportunity to work within a busy and well-established practice The Role The successful candidate will be an experienced and confident Hygienist, providing high-quality preventive and periodontal care to an established patient base. The practice has a loyal patient base with regular attenders and is currently booked up for up to 4 months, providing an excellent opportunity to step into a busy and established diary from the outset. There is also the option to see Direct Access patients. Working days: The role will be 2–3 days per week and 2 Saturdays per month, with the following working pattern: - Every other Wednesday: 8:30am – 5:30pm - Every Thursday: 8:30am – 5:30pm - Every other Friday: 8:30am – 3:30pm - 2 Saturdays per month: 8:30am – 2:30pm Start date: January 2027 Qualifications & What We Are Looking For - GDC registered Dental Hygienist - Previous experience working within a busy private practice - Confident providing routine hygiene and periodontal treatment - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - A professional, caring and patient-centred approach - Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing excellent patient care - Comfortable working independently while being part of a supportive dental team Location Botley Dental Practice is conveniently located in Botley, Oxford, making it an excellent opportunity for a Hygienist looking to join an established private practice with a strong existing patient base.
