Senior Software Engineer - Card Network Integration

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Card Network Integration based in Canada. This is a senior engineering opportunity focused on building scalable systems that power card network transactions and financial data processing. You will design and deliver backend solutions supporting high-volume batch and event-driven workflows across critical payment operations. Your work will contribute to areas including digital wallet tokenization, chargebacks, ACH transfers, ATM networks, credit processing, and 3DS authentication. You will own complex projects from architecture and design through production, working with considerable autonomy on ambiguous technical challenges. The role combines software engineering, data engineering, cloud infrastructure, and operational excellence in a highly collaborative environment. You will partner closely with engineers and product leaders while helping improve reliability, scalability, and speed of delivery.
