$80,169-$121,543/year
Compensation is determined by several factors, including location, relevant experience, skill level, and internal equity.  Please note, we don’t typically hire above midpoint.

The Labor Relations Manager is responsible for developing and managing positive labor management 
relations between McGee & the IAM. This role administers collective bargaining agreements, supports operational leadership in labor relations matters, ensures compliance with the collective bargaining agreement (CBA), and serves as the primary liaison with union representatives. The manager plays a critical role in ensuring effective labor relations practices across McGee. 
Key Responsibilities 
Labor & Union Relations 
- Serve as the primary company representative in dealings with the union general chairs. 
- Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements (CBAs). 
- Support collective bargaining negotiations, and other related activities related to MOUs or arbitration agreements. 
- Manage grievance review board, arbitration preparation, and dispute resolution. 
- Build collaborative relationships with union leadership to promote effective communication and operational stability. 
- Monitor labor climate and recommend proactive strategies to reduce workplace conflict. Compliance & Risk Management 
- Ensure consistent application of CBA and labor agreements across stations. 
- Maintain accurate labor relations documentation and reporting. 
- Partner with Legal and other Human Resources teams on labor-related litigation, arbitrations, and regulatory matters. 
- Identify labor risks and recommend mitigation strategies. Operational Support 
- Assist in contingency planning during labor disruptions or operational emergencies. 
- Analyze labor metrics including grievances and disciplinary trends. 
- Support change management initiatives involving changes to company policy and CBA changes. Training & Development 
- Train managers and supervisors on labor relations practices, union contract administration, and workplace investigations. 
- Develop labor relations guidelines and best practices for frontline leadership. 
- Promote respectful workplace standards and conflict resolution techniques. Additional Responsibilities

- Perform other duties as assigned to support McGee’s successful business operation. 
Required 
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
- 5+ years of labor relations or employee relations experience, preferably in airline operations, aviation services, ground handling, transportation or logistics. 
- Experience handling grievances, arbitrations, and investigations. 
- Strong understanding of labor laws and collective bargaining practices. 
- Excellent negotiation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills. 
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management abilities. 
- Ability to work in fast-paced, operationally driven environments with irregular schedules. 
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. 
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems. 
- Ability to influence others, work cross-functionally, and contribute positively to a team-oriented, safety-first culture. 
- High school diploma or equivalent. 
- Must be at least 18 years of age. 
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred 
- Experience administering union contracts. 
- Knowledge of airline or airport operational environments.
