Physical Therapy Assistant Position Summary Provides therapy services to individuals and families in their homes. Level of Responsibility: Works under the supervision of a qualified Physical or Occupational therapist Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Provision of client care services which have been selected and delegated by the registered/certified therapist; - Participation in preparation of clinical and progress reports; - Participation in educating the client and family; - Participation in in service programs; - Performance of service planned, delegated, and supervised by the Therapist. - Maintains current knowledge of the Physical or Occupational Therapy profession by participation in formal education programs, workshops, and professional organizations. - Performs other related functions as required.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Knowledge of therapy principles and procedures. - Working knowledge of possible hazards to clients during treatment and of the necessary precautionary measures. - Ability to apply therapy techniques and methods to individual clients. - Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. - Ability to incorporate new ideas or concepts into practice. - Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with professional and non-professional staff members, clients, and the general public.Job Type: PRN, Per Visit - Successfully completed the required educational program. - Licensed or certified as required by the State of Colorado. - Valid state driver's license. - Access to a reliable automobile.  Benefits: - PAID training! - PRN - Flexible schedule - Work - Life balance, no overnight services - 401k available for ALL staffPay: - Per Visit ($30-$40)www.argushomehealthcare.com
