Carolina Physical Therapy is hiring a Pelvic Health Physical Therapist to join our energetic outpatient clinic in North Charleston. If you’re passionate about pelvic health and enjoy a collaborative, patient-centered environment, we’d love to meet you! What You’ll Do: - Evaluate and treat pelvic floor dysfunction for men and women, incontinence, bowel dysfunction, pre/post-natal issues, and related conditions - Design customized treatment plans using manual therapy, exercise, and education - Collaborate with referring providers and clinic team - Educate and empower patients on their wellness journey Outpatient PT Duties - Assess patients to develop and initiate treatment plans based on the evaluation results - Review the physician's referral (prescription) and the patient's condition and medical records to determine the physical therapy treatment required - Provide direct patient care by established protocols and patient care guidelines - Document findings, progress, and instructions to patients and caregivers - Responsible for patient care performed by assistants and rehabilitation technicians - Complete a written plan of care, develop goals based on evaluation findings, and develop a comprehensive program to attain goals - Implement physical therapy treatment program and provide essential physical therapy treatments - Communicate effectively with patients/caregivers and professional colleagues, including physicians and insurance companies - Ensure timely documentation, including daily notes, weekly workers' compensation reports, progress reports, initial evaluations, discharge summaries, and incident reports - Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program - Current state South Carolina license - CPR certification - Exercise, sports rehab, and manual-based skills - Outgoing and energetic personality - Responsible individual with a solid work ethic - Excellent communication and people skills - New or recent graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!
