$23 - $28/hour DOE | Full-Time | 1st Shift | Waterloo, IA A-Line is looking for an Oil Processing Technician to join our plant team. This position is responsible for safely processing, monitoring, testing, and tracking transformer oil and related materials. This is a technical, detail-oriented role that combines equipment operation, computer work, inventory tracking, documentation, and safety. If you enjoy working with industrial equipment but also like working with numbers, computers, and processes, this could be a great fit. What You'll Do - Operate and monitor oil filtration, pumping, transfer, and processing equipment - Conduct routine oil testing and document results - Track oil received, processed, transferred, stored, and shipped - Monitor inventory levels and reconcile physical inventory with computer records - Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and perform light maintenance and repairs - Identify and report equipment issues, leaks, process abnormalities, or inventory discrepancies - Maintain clean, organized, and safe equipment and work areas - Communicate oil status, equipment issues, inventory needs, and other important information to internal stakeholders - Track and document outgoing oil shipments, including completing required shipping paperwork and maintaining accurate records - Schedule transportation for outgoing shipments and coordinate pickup details with carriers and internal stakeholders - Follow strict safety, environmental, and operating procedures What We're Looking For - High school diploma or equivalent preferred - Previous experience in oil processing, industrial processing, manufacturing, equipment operation, maintenance, chemical processing, inventory control, or a similar technical environment preferred - Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills - Comfortable using computers and learning new software - Strong communication and organizational skills - Strong attention to detail and accurate recordkeeping - Able to work independently and follow detailed procedures - Safety-minded and comfortable working around industrial equipment and materials - Able to safely access and monitor equipment, stand/walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift, push, pull, or carry materials - Comfortable working in an industrial environment and performing hands on work Why A-Line? - 6 paid holidays off + PTO after 90 days - Medical, dental, vision - as low as $15 per week - 401(k) with company match - Company paid life insurance A-Line EDS is an Equal Opportunity Employer
