About the role

Supply ChainRobotics
Build the supply chain behind technology that is already operating at scale. We’re partnering with a fast-growing defence technology company developing and mass-producing autonomous systems for real-world deployment. This is a full-cycle hardware business where R&D, engineering, manufacturing and field operations sit close together and where products evolve continuously based on direct operational feedback. The company is already operating at meaningful scale, with a growing ecosystem spanning UAVs, unmanned ground systems and communication technologies. As production and international operations expand, they are now building a more resilient and scalable electronics supply chain across Europe. We’re looking for the Supply Chain Lead to build and own this function. THE ROLE: Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll take ownership of the electronics supply chain end-to-end from EMS strategy and semiconductor sourcing to BOM resilience, logistics and cross-border operations. This is not a procurement coordination role or an established function to simply maintain. You’ll help determine where and how products are manufactured, how critical components are secured, which EMS and semiconductor partners the company builds around, and how the supply chain scales with production. For someone coming from the European semiconductor, electronics or EMS ecosystem, this is an opportunity to move from owning one part of a mature supply chain to building one with significant autonomy and direct access to decision-makers. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Source and manage EMS partners - Manage BOM risk, including allocation, EOL, pre-buys and alternates - Build and maintain relationships with semiconductor manufacturers and distributors - Manage logistics from suppliers and EMS partners to the company - Manage logistics to customers in the EU and Ukraine - Manage customs and export compliance REQUIREMENTS: - 5+ years of experience in electronics supply chain on the OEM or EMS side - Hands-on experience through a component shortage cycle - Supplier and distributor relationships you actively use - Working knowledge of EU customs and dual-use rules Highly relevant: defence, UAV, robotics or other complex electronics environments; hands-on SMT manufacturing experience. WHY THIS ROLE: - The interesting part is not the title, it’s the level of ownership. - You’re joining at the point where the company needs to turn a fast-moving electronics supply chain into a scalable international function.
