A well-established national professional services organization is looking for an Information Technology Trainer to join its Los Angeles team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the intersection of technology, training, and user experience. You’ll help employees get the most out of the organization’s technology by delivering engaging training, developing useful resources, and making technical concepts easy to understand for users at all levels.
The role offers significant visibility across the organization and the opportunity to help shape how technology training is delivered.
What You’ll Do
Deliver engaging one-on-one and group technology training
Lead technology orientation and training for new hires
Develop training courses, presentations, guides, videos, and other learning materials
Build both introductory and advanced training programs based on user needs
Maintain strong knowledge of internal applications, systems, and technology
Identify best practices and more efficient ways for employees to use technology
Partner with IT to evaluate new applications, features, and systems
Translate software updates and changes into clear, practical training
Work with IT to troubleshoot user issues and reinforce solutions through education
Assess user needs and connect them with the right technology solutions
Maintain training records and gather user feedback
Help establish and maintain a centralized technology training platform
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience delivering technical or software training
Strong presentation, communication, and facilitation skills
Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical users
High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Windows
Experience creating training materials, presentations, and/or instructional videos
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Service-oriented and comfortable working with users at different levels of technical proficiency
Ability to quickly learn new applications and technologies
Creative approach to instructional design and problem-solving
IT-related degree and/or relevant certifications preferred
NetDocuments experience is a plus
Law firm or professional services experience is a plus
Willingness to travel periodically for training and conferences
