Job Description As our Clinical Affairs Lead, you will serve as Nicolab's clinical expert and technology specialist, playing a pivotal role in translating our medical technology into real-world clinical value that drives adoption, growth, and long-term product success. Based in Europe with a global reach, you will collaborate directly with leading clinical experts and partner institutions across regions, including Amsterdam UMC and Gold Coast University Hospital. Working at the intersection of clinical validation, product development, and customer engagement, you will oversee clinical studies, lead customer pilots, manage grant-funded research projects, and help shape our product roadmap based on real-world evidence and user feedback. Your clinical expertise, combined with a strong customer-facing mindset, will ensure Nicolab's solutions meet genuine healthcare needs and continue to evolve in close alignment with the medical professionals who rely on them. Key Responsibilities Clinical strategy & Commercial enablement - Act as Nicolab’s clinical specialist, advising internal teams on clinical aspects of current and future products - Own and execute the clinical strategy roadmap in alignment with product priorities and commercial objectives - Run and support customer pilots in close collaboration with clinicians and hospital teams - Actively support Sales and Customer Success during key account discussions by providing clinical and product context and credibility Evidence generation and Research collaborations - Oversee clinical studies for new products, ensuring that evidence generation balances regulatory requirements with commercial relevance - Serve as Nicolab's clinical lead across key European research initiatives and academic consortium partnerships - Lead post-market clinical data collection to continuously build real-world outcome and workflow evidence Product and Roadmap influence - Validate product roadmap decisions through clinical insight, customer feedback, and Medical Advisory Board discussions - Participate in the design and review of new products or major releases, ensuring alignment with clinical needs - Translate insights from clinical usage data and customer feedback into concrete product recommendations Qualifications Required - MD degree, or a strong track record of clinical experience in neurology, radiology, stroke, emergency medicine, or a closely related field - Experience setting up, executing, managing, and reporting clinical studies or research projects - Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to establish credibility with clinicians, researchers, healthcare institutions, and other external stakeholders - A proactive, engaging, and enthusiastic working style, with a genuine interest in working directly with people.
