We are seeking a professional and decisive Assistant Manager to join our team at our Mid Rivers Mall location in St. Peters. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting daily operations, leading a dedicated team, and ensuring an exceptional experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, motivational leadership abilities, and a commitment to operational excellence. - Supervise and mentor team members, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster professional development - Support store management in achieving sales targets and operational goals through effective planning and execution - Manage staff scheduling, time-off requests, and ensure adequate coverage to maintain service standards - Oversee inventory management, stock rotation, and merchandising to maintain product availability and store presentation - Monitor and maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and local requirements - Assist in training new employees during onboarding and provide ongoing skill development opportunities - Address customer concerns and resolve issues professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty - Analyze performance metrics and reports to identify opportunities for improvement and operational efficiency - Support the management team with administrative tasks, documentation, and communication - Maintain a positive, professional demeanor and model company values to the team - Proven supervisory or assistant management experience in a retail or commercial environment - Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams - Excellent organizational and time management abilities - Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and retail management software - Demonstrated customer service excellence and problem-solving capabilities - Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising best practices - Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed - Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards - Conflict resolution and negotiation skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications - Preferred: Previous experience in a mall or multi-tenant retail environment - Preferred: Sales experience and understanding of retail operations BENEFITS - Flexible Hours - Competitive wages - Employee discount on all food items - Advancement opportunities - Paid Training - Incredible Bonus Structure - Offered Health, Dental & Vision Insurance after 60 days of employment - Voluntary accident coverage/Critical illness coverage - Flexible Spending Accounts - Ability to contribute to a 401(k)
