Position Overview: Beam is seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to support technology solutions across the General and Administrative departments in a rapidly growing organization. This person will support Beam’s G&A Enterprise Application portfolio which is comprised of Financial, Operational, Legal and Human Resources solutions. This role is critical in providing implementation support for new systems and production support for all G&A stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Serve as the Senior Business Analyst on projects for new implementations and system enhancements, working with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure technical solutions meet Beam’s needs. - Build a collaborative relationship with stakeholders to proactively identify business needs and suggest solutions that align to those needs. Work with stakeholders to build and maintain technology roadmaps. - Ensure compliance with SOX controls, audit requirements, and data governance standards across supported applications. - Facilitate requirements gathering to support project initiatives. Maintain business process and system documentation for existing systems and contribute to the knowledge base for service desk members. - Lead release management activities for enterprise applications, coordinating planning, testing, deployment, stakeholder communication, and post-release validation to ensure successful production implementations. - Act as a point of escalation for operational and system issues, own management of issue resolution and coordinating with vendors when necessary. - Proactively identify opportunities to leverage AI technologies, including Microsoft Copilot, AI agents, and embedded AI functionality, to streamline business processes, improve productivity, and enhance the user experience across enterprise applications. - Build and maintain reporting across enterprise applications to provide operational oversight, measure performance, and identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field. - The ideal candidate will have experience implementing or supporting G&A applications, specifically: - Finance (SAP FI/CO, SAP Concur, Coupa, Workday Adaptive) - HR (Success Factors) - Legal (Agiloft) - Operations (FM Systems, Velocity EHS, Robin) - Demonstrated ability to work with a high degree of autonomy, effectively prioritize work, and drive initiatives to completion in a dynamic environment. - 6+ years as a Business Analyst in an IT department. - Ability to work in our Cambridge, MA headquarters twice per week. - Experience working in a Biotech/Pharmaceutical/Life Sciences environment is a plus. The salary range below reflects the full-time base salary range we expect to pay for this role at the time of posting. Base pay will be determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, scope of job, internal comparisons, and market data. Beam Pay Range $80,000—$115,000 USD
