🌀 THE COMPANY Founded in 2022, Filigran is a global cybersecurity company on a mission to empower defense teams to be proactive through open-source solutions that uncover threats and drive action. Filigran stands out in the cybersecurity ecosystem through its open-source, AI-powered and threat-informed approach to Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). Our eXtended Threat Management (XTM) platform brings together threat intelligence, exposure validation and cyber risk reduction, enabling organizations to better understand their threat landscape and take action. At the heart of Filigran is our open-source approach. Our vision is to unite defenders into a global community to make security more open, resilient and collaborative. As Filigran continues to scale globally, we are building the organization, infrastructure and capabilities needed for our next stage of growth. How we scale matters just as much as how fast we scale: our CORE values: Cohesion, Openness, Responsibility and Equity shape how we work together, make decisions and build for the future.   🎯 THE ROLE We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team and help us run, secure, and scale the infrastructure behind the XTM Platform, Filigran's open-source platform for agentic Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM). Our customer base keeps growing, in more regions and on more providers, and our platform grows with it: our own bare-metal Kubernetes cloud, the major public clouds, sovereign and regulated environments, and on-premises deployments for customers who run our products themselves. You'll work across the whole platform, from Kubernetes clusters and deployment tooling to observability, security, and on-call, in a team that has made AI agents a core part of how it works. 💼 YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES - Design, build, and operate production Kubernetes clusters, on our own bare-metal infrastructure and on public clouds - Roll out and operate Filigran products in new regions and on new providers as our SaaS footprint expands - Develop and maintain the ways our products get deployed, by us and by our customers: Helm charts (including a major rework of our charts), Ansible automation, CI/CD pipelines, and a virtual appliance for on-premises environments - Keep our SaaS instances available and reliable, and continuously improve how we run them: observability, monitoring, capacity planning, incident management, and post-incident reviews - Harden the platform and help it meet the requirements of regulated environments (such as FedRAMP and SecNumCloud) - Use AI agents throughout your daily work (writing infrastructure code, investigating incidents, drafting runbooks) while staying accountable for everything you review and ship - Help design the playground for agents: make our repositories, documentation and guardrails agent-friendly, so other teams can contribute safely, and regularly step back on what works and what needs to improve - Take problems from first signal to shipped solution: scope them, propose an approach, and document your decisions so others (humans and agents alike) can build on them 🤝 WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH - You'll report to the Director of Platform Engineering - You'll join a collaborative, non-siloed Platform Engineering team of about fifteen people across three verticals, working closely with our Technical Product Manager and fellow platform engineers, including staff engineers - You'll work hand in hand with software development teams and customer support on reliability, scalability and the rollout of new products and features - On-call: a shared rotation of around one daytime shift and one night shift every two weeks, plus one weekend every six weeks or so. Night and weekend on-call is compensated. 🧬 PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR WHAT YOU BRING - 5+ years of experience as a Platform Engineer, SRE, DevOps or Cloud Engineer - Hands-on experience running Kubernetes in production: operating and troubleshooting clusters, not just deploying to them - Strong Ansible skills and experience writing and maintaining Helm charts - Solid Linux and networking fundamentals - Comfortable working on at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP…), or strongly willing to learn - Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or similar) and an observability stack (Prometheus, Grafana…) - A security mindset: you think about secrets, access, network exposure and blast radius by default - An AI-oriented mindset: you already use AI tools and agents in your work, or you're eager to start, and you review their output with a critical eye - Willingness to code: no specific language is required, but you'll read and write scripts and tooling (mostly Python) - Comfortable in a remote-first, asynchronous team, with a strong sense of ownership, autonomy and team spirit - Full professional proficiency in English NICE TO HAVE - Experience with bare-metal or on-premises infrastructure, where you handle networking, storage, and the cluster lifecycle yourself - Terraform, especially for cloud infrastructure - Infrastructure security experience (hardening, software supply chain, vulnerability management) or a CKS certification - Experience with regulated or compliance-heavy environments (FedRAMP, SecNumCloud, ISO 27001…) - Operating backing services such as Elasticsearch, RabbitMQ, Redis or S3-compatible storage - Hands-on experience designing skills, workflows or guardrails for AI agents - Fluent in French 🌱 WHY JOIN FILIGRAN? MORE THAN JUST A JOB. We are a fast-growing, global and remote-first company, and we believe the best work combines purpose, impact and innovation. You’ll work alongside talented people across the world who care about what they build, how they build it, and the impact they make on the broader cybersecurity ecosystem. ⭐ Be part of something bigger We believe we do work that matters. Our open-source approach means that work extends beyond Filigran. You’re contributing to technology and ideas that strengthen a global community of defenders and help make cybersecurity more open and collaborative. 💻 Work at the edge of what’s next We bring together cybersecurity, open source and AI — giving you the opportunity to work with emerging technologies, experiment with new ways of working, and contribute to how they are applied in practice. 🌍 Global opportunity without borders Be part of a fast-growing, truly international team — collaborating across Europe, North America, APJ and beyond, with the flexibility of a remote-first environment. As we grow, you’ll have opportunities to expand your scope, take ownership, learn quickly and grow with us. 🧭 A culture grounded in CORE Cohesion, Openness, Responsibility and Equity define how we work together — with openness, ownership, collaboration and respect. These are the principles that guide how we make decisions, treat people and grow together, especially when no one’s watching. 💰 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT - Competitive compensation + equity — everyone shares in our success - Remote-first flexibility — work from wherever you’re based, with flexibility built into how we operate - 25 days PTO baseline — real time to disconnect, recharge and enjoy life outside work - Volunteer days — paid time to contribute to causes that matter to you - Set up for success — choose the equipment that works for you, with additional support for your remote work and development needs as our programs evolve - Two annual in-person get-togethers — one global company get-together and one team get-together, creating dedicated time to connect, collaborate and strengthen our culture beyond the screen 🌍 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY We enable cybersecurity through inclusion — from code to culture. At Filigran, we are proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We believe the diversity of our people makes our products and our team stronger. We welcome talent of every background, identity and lived experience, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, age, disability or veteran status. What matters here is what you bring, not what you look like, where you’re from or how you identify. 🚀 READY TO JOIN US? Apply now and help us build the future of the cybersecurity ecosystem, together.
