ABOUT THE ROLE
The Law Enforcement Liaison Officer serves as the primary point of contact between the organization and key external stakeholders, including government agencies, law enforcement agencies, regulatory bodies, and business partners. The role focuses on facilitating communication, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting smooth operational processes.
The ideal candidate will drive strong engagement with key law enforcement agencies, while also maintaining relationships with other bodies such as NDIC, NCC, and EFCC. The Liaison Officer will manage ongoing Law Enforcement interactions and act as the organization’s consistent representative at the law enforcement agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain key engagements/interactions and relationships with Law enforcement agencies and other regulators
- Manage and maintain key engagements/interactions and relationships with EFCC, NPF and other law enforcement agencies.
- Ensure compliance with requests set by all concerned Law enforcement agencies
- Maintain relationships with new and existing external clients
- Act as the link between the organization and external stakeholders (Law enforcement agencies).
- Manage and maintain relationships with key government and Law enforcement agencies.
- Ensure timely processing of documentation, approvals, and permits.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and policies.
- Follow up on submissions, requests, and approvals to avoid delays in operations.
- Provide updates and reports on Law enforcement interactions and status of key activities.
- Support internal teams by coordinating external engagements and communications.
- Identify and resolve issues related to external processes or compliance requirements.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in public administration, law, or related field
- 2–4 years’ experience in a liaison, regulatory, law enforcement or administrative role
- Experience working with government or regulatory agencies is an advantage
- Good understanding of compliance and documentation processes
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in financial services, or regulated industries
- Prior experience managing regulatory submissions or permits
- Must have completed NYSC.
