About the role

SEO
Mayflower is a technology company building large-scale entertainment products for a global audience. Our platforms serve millions of users worldwide and rank among the top-50 most visited websites globally. For more than 10 years, we've been creating reliable, high-performance solutions at the intersection of product, engineering, and entertainment. We are looking for a Senior SEO Specialist to own product-related SEO tasks from idea through release. You will turn search opportunities into initiatives and tasks for product and engineering, and confirm that what is delivered works as intended. Job Responsibilities - Identify technical and on-page SEO issues (crawling, indexing, site structure, redirects, canonicals, internal linking, templates, structured data) and initiate product-related tasks when they block organic performance; - Prepare implementation-ready tasks and recommendations: problem, solution, affected templates or URLs, risks, and acceptance criteria; - Validate proposed work with the Team Lead and SEO team before it reaches product or engineering; - Consult product and development on SEO implications of planned features, template changes, and site architecture; - Participate in estimations and groomings so work is sized, sequenced, and specified well enough to build; - Analyze search intent, SERP structure, and competitor behavior when it affects product or template decisions; - Optimize existing page types and templates for rankings, traffic, engagement, and conversions, including titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal links, page structure, and content; - Support content planning with SEO briefs, keyword maps, and optimization guidelines when work touches product surfaces; - Plan information architecture and landing-page structure for new product or content surfaces; - Specify and, where appropriate, implement structured data; - Test implementations after release against agreed acceptance criteria; - Monitor performance in Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and in-house reporting tools. Track rankings, traffic, indexing, and trends tied to shipped work, not only site-wide averages; - Prepare concise updates: what moved, what did not, and recommended next product or content steps; - Stay current with SEO practices and search-engine updates that affect product implementation.
