Senior Accountant, Inventory

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accountant, Inventory based in United States. This is a senior accounting role focused on inventory, cost accounting, financial close, and accurate financial reporting within a high-volume CPG environment. You will play a key role in maintaining complete financial records and ensuring accounting activities comply with U.S. GAAP and internal policies. The position owns important inventory accounting activities, including reconciliations, COGS analysis, reserves, obsolescence, and transaction accuracy across multiple sales channels. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, IT, FP&A, and other cross-functional teams to strengthen controls and resolve financial discrepancies. The role also provides exposure to audits, tax compliance, accounting policy development, fixed assets, debt, accruals, and process improvement initiatives. As a hands-on contributor, you will investigate variances, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions that improve financial accuracy and operational efficiency.
