About the role

As Commercial Product Specialist, you are the product and commercial expert in our Enterprise Sales motion. Working closely with Account Executives, you'll guide prospective customers through everything that happens before the contract is signed: understanding their needs, running tailored product demonstrations, building the commercial case, and shaping product-focused content for proposals and RFP/RFI responses. This role is key to converting our largest, most complex prospects — dioceses, regional church bodies, and multi-parish organisations — by showing how ChurchDesk delivers value against their functional and commercial requirements. Once a deal is won, you'll partner with the Enterprise Project Manager and CSMs to ensure a clean handover into rollout. You'll be part of the Enterprise team, reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, with monthly 1:1s and weekly check-ins. About your new role - Lead product discovery with prospects — understanding their current processes and workflows to identify where ChurchDesk creates the most value, not just what's on the wish list. - Design and deliver prospect-specific product demonstrations using their own terminology, structures, and use cases, showing exactly what daily life on ChurchDesk would look like. - Build and present the commercial case, connecting product capabilities to business value, ROI, and the prospect's priorities. - Own the product-related response to RFPs, RFIs, and proposals, working closely with the AE and pulling in technical specialists where deeper security/compliance detail is needed. - Secure buy-in from key decision-makers and stakeholders, positioning ChurchDesk as the best commercial and product fit for their needs. - Document product commitments, scope, and expectations, and hand over a clean, accurate picture to the Enterprise Project Manager and CSM — ensuring what was sold is what gets delivered. - Act as the prospect's trusted product advisor throughout the sales cycle, giving honest and accurate guidance even when it means surfacing limitations early.
